What I Wore

What I Wore: Cherry B-b-b-bomb!

What I wore or outfit when I went to attend the Uniqlo x Ines de la Fressange event. Gone are the days where I have to wear high heels to events. Nope, I just like to keep things simple, convenient and fuss-free. Nowadays, I just wear my Chucks because they’re comfy and versatile. They even look good with my little white dress, which I wore when I watched Disclosure last July.

There was no dress code for the event, so I just wore whatever I could find in my box of clothes. I wanted something cute, but easy to move around because I was hoping JP and I would go on a date after (it was a Friday night!). I love dresses inspired by the 50’s, so I guess I don’t have to explain why I bought this cherry-printed dress. Too cute for life!

Oh, and for those who asked, these photos were taken using the Fujifilm X-M1. It’s currently the cheapest mirrorless camera from Fujifilm that has the ability to shoot RAW and transfer photos on your smartphone wireless.

See that bracelet? Moonshine PH handcrafted this bracelet specially just for me. I told them the different aspects of my life that I’d like to focus and improve on. So they chose the following stones: Citrine for wealth and career growth; Amethyst for peace and Rose Quartz for love and healthy relationships, particularly self-love. :)

I have to agree, wearing sneakers is better than heels especially if you’re attending an event. Sneakers can look elegant to when worn with the right dress, and of course, on how you’ll wear it. Btw, what color is that? Gray? Off white? Can’t take a good look with such a small screen.

At first look, I thought you’re going on a summer trip. Haha. I don’t know, but I actualky thought you’re going on a vacation with this outfit. Well maybe because of the coverup and the hat? Hehe

The photos look good, I am looking forward to more photos with your Fujifilm. Hopefully you can post more landscape photos, not just ootds. I’m eyeing on that for months now but I get confised if to take that or the Canon one. I’ve been a Canon user for quite a while so I can’t just decide. Haha.

And oh, your blogpost title seems to be familiar. I think I’ve read that somewhere but I forgot where. I’ll let you know when I remember it. :)

      I’m wearing a beige/cream color! :)

Hopefully, we’ll go out of town this month since it’s my birthday month, so that means landscape shots and whatnot. :) I’m not familiar with Canon’s mirrorless cameras but I know they’re a good brand when it comes to cameras, and quite active when it comes to events (I don’t know why but I find them quite aggressive when it comes to marketing). I only chose Fujifilm because I think they were the “pioneer” in the mirrorless field, and bought this model because it can shoot RAW (I love to shoot RAW!).
